Why is our sustainability-led focus important?

How we developed our strategy

At BeCause, we focus on the triple-bottom line: Planet (reducing our environmental footprint), People(fostering diversity and equity), and Business (driving operational excellence with positive impact).

To ensure a practical, data-driven approach, we conducted a Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) aligned with the CSRD requirements. This process identifies key sustainability risks and opportunities from both impact and financial perspectives.  By integrating these insights into our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, we ensure sustainability is embedded in our strategy. Our bi-annual DMA updates keep us responsive to evolving trends, regulations, and business needs—turning commitments into measurable impact.

At  BeCause, we are fully dedicated to measuring and reducing our Scope 1, 2, and partial Scope 3 emissions. By pinpointing key emission sources, we  set bold long-term reduction targets that align with our sustainability goals.

We acknowledge the pressing climate-related risks, including potential operational disruptions and rising regulatory pressures, and are taking proactive steps to address these challenges to ensure our ongoing growth and resilience.

As a sustainability data management hub, we also play an integral role in our customer supply chains, recognizing the importance of providing low-carbon services and reliable data. Our dedication extends to sustainable procurement and waste management practices, designed to minimize our environmental footprint and optimize operational efficiency. These initiatives not only drive sustainability but help us build a more resilient and future-proof business model.
